Need to Surrender a Pet?
How It Works
Email us at info@littlebeanshoperescue.org. We will send you a form where you get to provide us with information about your pet, including their age, breed, temperament, and any special needs or medical conditions. Please be honest. A history of illnesses/behavioral issues does not disqualify them for intake.
Our team will review the information provided and determine the best course of action. We may schedule a phone call to better understand your situation and the needs of your pet.
If we have space and resources available, we will work with you to arrange a safe and smooth transition for your pet. This may include scheduling a drop-off appointment and discussing any necessary paperwork. Please note that once a pet is surrendered, all ownership rights are waived as per the contract. You may not be entitled to take the animal back without going through the proper adoption channels (subjected to approval).
If we are unable to immediately accept your pet due to capacity limits, we will provide guidance and resources to help you manage the situation. This may include referrals to other organizations or advice on temporary solutions.
