Powered by whiskers, fueled by kindness, occasionally run on coffee.
This is where we share some of the magic that happens outside of adoptions: the late nights, the teamwork, the tiny wins, the big milestones, and the humans who make it all possible.
From neighborhood TNVR missions to first-time trappers learning the ropes, from volunteers going above and beyond to cats getting the most perfect ending. This is what rescue looks like when a community comes together.
Here are some of our favorite moments in 2025. Welcome to our favorite corner of the internet 💛
🌟
Our Community by the Numbers
Our neighbors definitely think we’re running something… unconventional.
There is a very specific moment when you line up ten cat traps in front of your house, step back to check your work, and realize that from the outside, this does not look like a normal household activity.
We like to imagine the neighbors pausing mid-coffee, peeking through their blinds, and quietly wondering:
“Is this… legal?”
It is. It’s just TNR.
Just a regular evening temporarily converting a very normal home into a very specific kind of operations center.
Nothing to see here. Please disperse.
Rescue runs on teamwork, dedication, and one extremely important supervisor…
We love getting together with our volunteers like one big family, and every family has that one member who takes their role very seriously. Ours just happens to be named Big Tux.
Big Tux oversees morale, quality control, snack distribution, and general emotional support. He does not rescue cats, but he absolutely supervises the people who do.
10/10 leadership. Would follow again.

Apollo’s Long Wait (and Big Moment)
Apollo waited 459 days in foster home without a single adoption inquiry. Not one.
Then one day, his Instagram post went viral, and suddenly it rained applications into our inbox. Almost overnight, the world saw what we had seen all along: what a special, gentle, wonderful boy Apollo truly is.
And just like that, Apollo was adopted into a loving local family who absolutely adores him.
Today, Apollo still looks like one very grumpy cat, but it’s all in his face. He’s actually a big softie and a wonderful big brother to his kitten sibling.
After over a year of waiting… he finally went home. See his Christmas picture here 😀
Worth. Every. Single. Day.
Testimonials
Jade C.: Adopter in Miami, FL

“My experience with Little Beans Hope rescue was one of the easiest, most rewarding and comfortable experiences I could’ve asked for. The process was quick, efficient and smooth, and I was able to meet my best friend, Bartholomew Beef Benson, through them. The day I met Bartholomew, was the day I took him home! I was and still am in awe of how passionate they are about saving these babies and giving them the help, stability, and kind love that they so desperately deserve.”
Calista B.: Adopter in Upland, CA

“Gatsby is such a precious boy, and we’re so grateful we were able to adopt him! The team was so kind and helpful, and made the entire process so easy for us! Gatsby was shy at first, but now he’s the most affectionate kitty I’ve ever met, always wanting to cuddle and be pet. Even our other cat couldn’t stay mad for long, they’re like brothers now, they do everything together! We are all so much happier now that we have our sweet Gatsby (we call him Gibby for short) Thank you!”

“I had a wonderful experience adopting through Little Beans Rescue. The process was fast and easy, and everyone I interacted with was kind, professional, and truly cared about the cats’ well-being. Thanks to them, I was able to bring home two amazing cats who have become such a special part of my life. I’m so grateful for the work they do and highly recommend them to anyone looking to adopt.”

“We adopted brothers, Moki and Loki from Little Beans Hope Rescue. Communicating with their team and the foster mom was excellent. The application form was quite extensive, but it really showed how much they care about all the cats and kittens they rescue and want to make sure they go to a good home. We are so happy they chose us to bring these two amazing kittens home. They are both so beautiful and have the best personalities in the world and are a great addition to our family”
Kassidi S.: Foster in Miami, FL

“Fostering with Little Beans has been one of the most meaningful things I’ve ever done. Welcoming cats and kittens into my home, watching their personalities bloom, and knowing I’m part of their journey to a better life. What makes it even more incredible is the team behind it all. Little Beans is selfless, supportive, understanding, and attentive. From day one, they’ve made me feel encouraged, prepared, and appreciated. You’re never alone, they’re with you every step of the way, and their love for these cats shines through in everything they do. I’m endlessly grateful to be part of something so full of heart and selflessness.”

“I could not say enough about Little Beans Hope Rescue. I have adopted 3 different beautiful babies from them that have all been the most wonderful additions to my life. Unfortunately, tragedy struck for one of them, but Little Beans was there for me. They supported me in ways I never thought they would. The team is so kind and dedicated to not only cats but helping the people too. This Rescue has my heart, and I will never go anywhere else for adoption. All the people are so kind, and the kitties are the best of the best!”

“I adopted a cat from Little Beans Hope Rescue in September 2024. I had a great experience with the rescue including the continued communication even months after the adoption. Their rescue truly cares about the animals.”
Alana A.: Adopter in Miami, FL

“We wanted to adopt a cat over the holiday season, and I had been in touch with several rescues. I found a cat that we were absolutely in love with from Little Beans Hope Rescue. Bruna and her team worked hard to vet me for adoption so that I could have our cat early. The process was quick ran smoothly. We are smitten! Communication was extremely clear along the way, and it’s obvious that this rescue organization is both organized and loves animals. I highly recommend adopting through Little Beans donating to their cause.”
Barbara M.: Foster in Miami, FL

“Being a foster for Little Bean Rescue has been more like gaining extended family or best friends. This rescue truly cares more about the animals than anything else. I’ve learned so much about animals, temperament, and care, and I truly fall in love with every single foster that I take in. I really lucked out that my first time stepping into the foster game was with THIS rescue. It extended far beyond just THEIR foster. They are always offering help even for my neighborhood pets not being properly cared for by their owners. Always stepping up with aid, resources, spay and neuter etc. Just an organization that’s all heart and love.”
